I am not Tooter. As I don’t know who Tooter is I can’t say for sure I am not distantly related to them but it wouldn’t trouble me if I was. It’s fortuitous if we agree nothing more. For sure, we sometimes say the same things as they are facts whether people here want to deny them or not.

What worries me about this forum is the ridiculous tendency to drop into ad hominem attacks on posters who are not blatant fanboys. I post, as I said initially, to try to set the record straight a bit about one of my worst ever performing investments. I may not have the hugest holding ever but it is still a crap investment. Fantasising on Hotcopper about SE2/3 still coming in, or W7 being the saviour of the company is just that, fantastical, magical thinking.

Tooter has remarkable resilience to keep on posting in the face of relentless ill informed sarcasm. Plus I suspect they are right about much of what they post.

If people posting stuck to real debate based on facts and analysis even if it leads to uncomfortable conclusions we would all be better informed. A bit of me is saying “fat chance of that”…….
