To my infantile/jaded mind, the solution to the looming gas shortfall is simple. All SN has to do is to ball into Roger Cook's office and say to him. "You want more gas quickly you go guarantor for the funds we need to put in the SE processing plant." No skin off the WA governments nose - although they may have to beat the Greens about the ears. The project can't fail so the government can't lose money, Strike gets a loan at a reasonable rate and WA gets more gas quickly.
