The SaaS component is what excites me the most. Maybe it’s due to my experience working in Big Tech, specifically focused on SaaS, however I’m quite attune to the revenue this model can bring.
Moving forward, each new hardware order will have a SaaS model tied to it. Meaning, each time they sell a piece of hardware (one time revenue) there will be yearly streams of revenue tied to that 1 purchase, which comes through the subscription piece.
The SaaS revenue is almost guaranteed as well, as software updates are directly tied to it. Meaning if you cancel the SaaS subscription, the hardware purchase basically becomes redundant in the face of new counter technology.
Now apply that to the countless hardware products they will sell moving forward. and you can start seeing how Oleg envisions 50% of their revenue coming from SaaS alone.
Droneshield is fast evolving from a hardware company to a software company. Hybrid of the two at the very least.
