With Chinese provinces again cracking down on energy users the ZCE’s January 2022 ferrosilicon price today rose by rmb354 to rmb9,570 per mt on 494,31 contracts changing hands. Energy consumption in Ningdong Base, Shizuishan City and Zhongwei City have not decreased but increased while Wuzhong City has not reached its target.
