I know Torque is largely a gold punt - something like a Wattle Dam would be dandy - but Ian Finch and MD Cristian have thrown out a nickel teaser by saying they are doing a bit of prelim work on that theme in their Paris tenements. Torque's tenements certainly are either in the Kambalda nickel zone or maybe just outside it so not the silliest thing to pursue. This map is from the Annual Report:
Besides Mincor's Cassini being about 25 clicks west from Torque's tenements there is just to the north of Cassini Widgie's (ASX: WIN) string of deposits for about 170kt nickel. And maybe 12 km to the north east of Torque is Lunnon Metals' (ASX: LM8) Foster-Baker project, which I think is as good as on top of St Ives gold mine tenements.
It is early days yet for Torque and not a lot of newsflow so far but still a reasonable question to have been asked by them. Here is another snippet from the Annual Report:
