Given the low market capitalisation of AKO, it wouldn't be a strategic investment from a RIO or Anglo perspective unless it was a full takeover.
I suspect there is a 'problem' for AKO in analysing the offers as AKO is hell bent on retaining control and wanting to persist with the low capex DSO mine plan. Yes there may be fund managers/investors that may go along with this idea, but no large iron ore mining company would have a bar of that plan.
Hope the large players are not being put off by AKO's likely intransigence.
