From memory it was going to be BEI Petroleum Limited - or something like that - the intention was to get rid of the word "exploration" to reflect the fact that AKK is becoming more and more of a producer...and yes, I expect the ticker symbol would have to change.
Would be good if the shareholder meetings agendas and outcomes were posted on the company website somewhere
