I'm unable to do this as I hold the shares in two separate SMSF ( Self managed Super Funds).
The SMSF's currently pay no tax on profits or dividends, Superfunds are meant for retirement, once you start trading in a SMSF then the tax rate can change as you're deemed a trader.
Plus, I pay a brokerage on every trade, the person who is doing this at present wouldn't be paying brokerage.

The person doing it while listed as shorting haven't needed to buy back the shares sold, they must have an arrangement with the owner to sell the shares. In the last 6-7 weeks they have disposed of 663,000 shares. I have asked the company about it, either they don't know or won't say. Maybe in April 2023 when the Annual report comes out we'll see who has been selling.
