Imho, “the market” for micro cap stocks such as ATP consists of a tiny number of private investors (except at times of capital raisings), and is highly illiquid. Reasons why people might buy are often not based on fundamentals but sentiment and charts. That’s why I specialise in stocks like this - that’s where under-researched bargains are to be found. A very good private investor I follow on hotcopper makes the point that most amateur investors have no skills in analysing fundamentals, so price discrepancies can last for a long time. I agree with that.
