Well, Ferroglobe just reported 14.7% ebitda margin on their manganese alloys business, and 23.3% on their silicon based alloys, for FY2023. Conf. call in 15 mins. Let's see whether lowest cost producer OMH has better margins then. Though hard to compare as OMH has (reversals of) impairment of inventories included, and Ferroglobe numbers are distorted by energy contact trading/hedging and energy subsidies, more prominent with silicon metals where margings are all over the place quarter by quarter. It is hard to get a clean number for both. Forster stockbroker as quoted above seem to calculate with 17% adjusted ebitda margin for OMH. So that would seem same ballpark, what benefit they get from lower energy cost they seem to lose in efficiency somewhere.
