This reminds me of the construction industry.
What you do as a builder developer is build a team of trades that will deliver results by taking on contracts and then start developing your own projects using a well trained highly capable team and then keep everything in house.
You end up with spectacular profits and an end product that will always sell due to the speed and quality of the build.
Once you have the name in the industry trades flock to you and you get to pick and choose the best ones.
