Here’s abit of a background-
A draft (notbeer) dodger who chose to trip out during the day and who is now a childlesselderly man and his hippy wife with nothing better to do decided to stitchtogether and old video camera to a very long stick and point it high up on apole and invade the personal space of these birds way up in the tree. Once theygot their ill-gotten footage (evidence that indeed birds live in trees- dirr) theyteamed up with a bunch of ultra-radical conservationist who are on a mission tosave the universe on everyone’s behalf, one bird at a time.
Imagine ifyou were the bird, would you prefer a camera being directly shoved right up inyour nest for your own protection by a self-appointed guardian of the universeor the distant sound of bit of rustling leaves, twiddling twigs a fair distanceaway by bnr’s drill pods which mind you would cause less of a footprint thanmost of the storms coming through these days least of all by deranged old menwith old cameras and sticks poking them up into birds’ nests.
The wordingthroughout the most recent demirs decision was obviously written by a highly prejudicedand angry individual that has a most profound and unprofessional bias towardstheir allies at the conservation alliance. Even a school aged child canconclude the same reading how polarizing the blatant tone of the writing was.This in itself is enough for an appeal.
I stronglydisagree with some opposing assertions that the management are overpaid or notworking hard, quite the opposite they are to be commended for their unwaveringconviction against such biased gatekeepers of the universe that haveinfiltrated some government departments around the world and are pushing withimpunity their own extreme agendas instead of just carrying out their duty inan impartial, fair and procedural way.
BNR areclear, justified balanced and fair in every respect. The environment, its developmentand exploration do coexist, one does not cancel the other out. BNR should fighttooth and nail to the very end, as its worth fighting for. Besides, the dataalone that they would uncover would add the commonwealth’s geological data base whichone of the richest sets in the world. Also, they were invited by being given anexploration permit in this area in the first place, and look at how thoroughand diligent BNR were throughout these years. Simply on the basis of logic andprocedural fairness they deserve at the very least to reveal extent andmagnitude of what there.
By the way,shame on the abc’s reporting on this matter, but hey we know they have been infiltratedby hippy sympathisers a long time ago.
And yes, I’mstill here, haven’t sold a single share. Yes it has been a stressful timethanks to one god forsaken depraved dingbat that has infested the demirs inorder to push their ideology but we don’t have much to wait and see but forwhat it’s worth we may be turning a corner.
Remember thepowers that actually matter, are the elected government representatives and notsome wayward individuals (dingbats) in some insular and cocked knit department.By the way, the voice of traditional custodians of the land has been shouted downand ignored by these ultra radical conservationists and ignored by that soledingbat at demirs. Don’t forget they are highly supportive of this project andthis should have much more weight that what is acknowledged. I would suggest toanyone that they would know a whole lot more about the environment and it’smanagement than our dingbat friend at demirs who wrote that most recent manifesto.
