Nice one @mt88! Haha! We were both thinking the same thing! Here's a range of numbers I came up with.
Was going to post earlier but I was looking for some other situations where a volume of an iso-surface had been reported.
I ran the numbers for a range of grades but as an indication:
Obviously a cut-off grade also needs to be applied as the cut-off grade is the grade below which certain portions of a deposit are not economic to mine.
- Kinross Fort Knox is 0.33 g/t
- Whistler (nearby) is 0.4 or 0.5 g/t (depending on component of the Resource)
- Victoria Gold is 0.66 g/t (reserves)
- Shotgun Gold Project is 1.06 g/t
Drilling of course needs to determine grade of mineralisation and ultimately proportion of the "deposit" the contains economically mineable gold.
