Can someone please tell me error in my approximate calculations? Doesn't feel right...
~55 hectares average porphyry area from -100 to -800 (and possibly further)
= 550,000sqm x 700m depth
= 385,000,000 cubic metres target mining volume
= 3,850,000 cubic metres of copper (assuming @0.01 copper)
= 34,419,000 tonnes of copper (apparently 1 cubic meter of copper weighs ~8.94 tonnes)
= value of copper in ground is 413billion AUD??? (@$12,000 AUD tonne)
Can someone please tell me error in my approximate calculations?...
