My take is, ppl do have money in the bank, but all the doom and gloom is making ppl think twice, when the media decides to change the narrative from all bad to it's getting better, then ppl will be back spending. Interest rate ain't coming back down unless we r in a recession and there's no recession if unemployment is low.
