Yeah, define the resource, update the PFS, have something that is bankable, sell it our neighbours based on an EV of $150/oz. They need our Processing Plant! We have gold at shallow depths ready to be extracted.
Or we start mining and ride many many years of high gold prices.
All shareholders should be happy with both. With no other real prospects left to explore and Sandstone being the sole focus. The capex payoff should be extremely quick and with excess profits and no known future exploration, could be looking and high dividend yields, especially if MDI develops an efficient underground methodology to extract the Two Mile Hill Deeps.
Happy with both.
But my guess is that a Take Over is on the horizon, just makes sense for both MDI & AME.
So say we have a 1.3 Moz resource, based on an EV/Oz of $80/Oz = $104 Mil MC
+ Processing Plant, Site Amenities & Infrastructure = $50 Mil MC
Total Future MC Valuation = $154 Mil MC
They must be confident to accelerate exploration.
I'd be happy if the TO was anywhere between $120 Mil+. Very fair!
