There are a lot of so called ' strategies ' available to Investor's at the moment. Including Investor's in SYA . And I'm assuming the 2 cent options will come on for trading at the same time as the tradable rights. If they do , it will be particularly interesting to see how the posturing around these eventuates as well.
But for those interested in the Heads / Rights , and who are equally interested in the potentially ' emerging ' , and yet to play out story , it could get interesting on how individual investor's will prefer how to ' manage ' or ' ratchet up ' there overall holdings in SYA.
For instance , if an investor was ' super keen ' and were looking to say ' double ' their holdings this potentially ' enlarged ' company. Now might actually be the time to do it. Lets say commencing from tomorrow , these hypothetical investor's start to wade into the ' Buying ' with the view to doubling their holding. So lets use 1 million as an example of they're existing holding. In this scenario , they would BUY a further 4 million shares ahead of the record date and cutoff which would net them a further 1 million rights. They would then trade and churn their 4 million back into the obvious ' pump ' being created - only to come out the other side with an increase amounting to 100% instead of only 25%.
And of course this would work just as well in the case of a ' would be ' strategic partner wanting to say accumulate their 10% ahead of a further 10% placement . This strategy could allow them to come out with the ' Magical ' 20% in the ' pre merged ' entity which arises from the ashes of this whole NAL and Quebec Lithium saga.
And so it is interesting to review the statements regarding the possible ' control ' effects arising from the issue as per the following disclosures ( below ) . So while these are considered stock standard requirements in accordance with Chapter 6 of the Corporations Act 2011 regarding voting powers and takeover provisions , it is interesting in the context that while there are exemptions to s606 , there is currently nobody currently anywhere near this 20% threshold on the Company's share register at the present moment. Furthermore , there isn't even anyone close to the 10% level which is considered the effective blocking threshold for a ' compulsory ' acquisition .
That is of course if you wish to dismiss the accumulated ' related parties ' vis-a-vis Director's , BOD members , and Key executives who are currently sitting on near enough the 25% mark with they're combined 23.14 % holdings as at 16th January's Top 20 listing.......
Having said all this , it will be very interesting to see how the obvious increase in trading activity and volumes plays out over the ensuing 10 days of trading to the 27th March.....
