A big struggle for them now will likely be convincing buyers they will still be around in 2 years (let alone 10).
You wouldn’t invest this much in new equipment and processes to then have the company you bought it from go out of business and not be there for support, upgrades etc. Too risky. “Nobody ever got fired for buying IBM”.
They should be looking for a trade sale exit now? Surely some reasonably valuable IP for a bigger company?
