Hi Roger07, I'm not altogether in agreement with your rationale to concentrate on the Zealous tin prospect but that's only my opinion ,which is probably not worth much. I reckon that DSO iron ore looks to be TRF's most likely short term hope. Low capex and ,hopefully,a positive return on mining costs. I wouldn't be concerned over the numbers of companies involved in similar projects, it's not a competitive race! I believe that Renison Bell is Oz's only major tin deposit.It is suggested that it is a late stage tin -rich granite forcefully intruded into the overlying carbonate sediments. The structural deformation must have been very severe and extensive,allowing for myriads of tin rich fluids to invade the sediments,replacing the carbonates with cassiterite. There are no other major tin deposits in OZ at this time. Check out Renison on the ASX companies list .it is now controlled by Metals Ex (ticker MLX). Also check Venture Minerals (VMS) , a much smaller skarn deposit, check out how many drill holes they have made to prove up their much smaller resource. You will appreciate how expensive it is to prove up these types of deposits . Primary tin deposits ,however they occur ,whether in the granites ,or as veins,skarns or carbonate replacements are extremely expensive to prove up . IMO Zealous looks to be a reasonable exploration target but no more than that . Certainly the Zealous granite has background tin values much more elevated than the standard mantle granite. IMO TRF's gold target's are still in the conceptual stage but a concept might become reality as Orinoco testing continues . Let us hope so! Best of luck to all!
