Your comment about the Wood study coming before EPA approval, is that based off this slide?
I don't think this list is necessarily in chronological order, for example, discussions with government debt and export finance agency isn't going to wait until after EPA, Traditional Owners, and Tenindewa processing, they can happen in conjunction.
That aside, surely they can release studies with an * that we are awaiting EPA approval. It should be resolved by the end of the year.
Speaking Tenindewa, a Geraldton Councillor flagged it could take up to 5 years for the land to get rezoned by the WA Department of Land Planning and Heritage, however, my googling searches have shown a period of 18-24 months is more common, albeit most examples being for residential land. Does anyone have any local insight into this? I would've thought we would be fast tracked (not suggesting the process is compromised, but it is a priority) as part of WA's employment plan. Especially as the site doesn't require EPA assessment, this should be a simple one to turn around.
