But I think if AVL’s BFS in April 2022 had contained strong enough figures then it would have likely been financed with no need to merge with TMT.

Beyond this in respect of the TMT resource ; despite thar shiny announcement of August 2022 the estimate never led to a development decision by the end of 2022.
And tellingly from early 2023 the cornerstone investor in TMT, RCF started piling capital into AVL, becoming a substantial holder well before the merger was annlunced.

When AVL announces a solid 50 year mine life is when I’ll believe it, and not before.
Furthermore: (in relation to another matter thathas caused you umbrage);
This company now has close to 9 billion shares and bulk of these (more than 50%!) are likely held by no more than 30 entities.
If you think the entry costs and average price of holdings of this ‘quorum ’ is not a factor in the share price attrition we have seen since the merger and before, then I think you have a somewhat naive perspective there as well.
I may not be good at maths but if this was my company I would be wanting to bring fresh holders in at the lowest possible prices to equalise ‘control’ away from the ‘freeloaders’ in (hopefully better) days to come.
