A broker friend sent me an image earlier this year (after the merger but not updated with TMT holders
You’ll note retired director Leslie Ingraham is down to 17,271,703 shares.
But on March 8, 2023 (AVL price around 3c) his final public notice as to his holding was 42 million shares directly held, and about 20.5million in a company account. [ref]
During the period he sold shares, the price was as high as 4.4c a share but had dropped to 2c a share by the time AVL and TMT were merged.
- The fact shorting at AVL went up commensurate with his (and anyone else) selling and the price halved is part of the reason I think it’s good to bring fresh holders in at large prices

As you can see there’s several big early entrant holders from TMT still on the list, and I assume a close connection and free or almost free holdings between Station and Pastoral (Cicero?) and alliance potential between them and other affiliates including those who have not sold shares from either company but have bern bumped off the top 20 list.
And there were plenty of rumours last year about TMT powers going against RCF (which I long ago decided to ‘'ally’ with due to its entry price being so much higher than other large holders) in relation to the lead up to the merger.
I would hate to see what was happening back then repeated.
Thus the more new boarders there are at current prices the happier I am even though it means there will likely be more shares being sold as AVL starts making solid announcements.
