I disagree Lewis - for me its thanks to Sabine for her ongoing positive, informative posts and breadth of research. I look forward to her posts and always makes me look further into the well also. I don't believe she does post misinformation (in fact that's never been her MO that i have seen!) nor is she name dropping here. In this thread she is simply showing the historical top 20 lists from both previous arenas and the current lists and some comments about that - whether right or wrong she is entitled to make them and she's not deeming them LAW. All are available from previous years in the end of year reports. Is there any point in looking back at this stage though - arguably no, we need to continue to look forward now. And there is a LOT to look forward to - and yes we all want it sooner rather than later.
This is a long and sadly drawn out process that i knew was taking both a good and a ... less good ... turn about a year ago when it was announced that a merger was on the cards. The good is excellent and the less good is the more drawn out the process would have to then be.
I appreciate your input Lewis also as i do RhysT, and many other regulars to the forum. I may not always agree with the posts but thats ok. What I don't appreciate is continual negative posters with baseless and meaningless comments like a certain alley cat that lives here from time to time. I don't have a lot of time for rubbish or to post myself these days and informative and value based posts are the reason i visit. Bickering and finger pointing are time wasters and counterproductive for us all.
Always question and clarify is a good rule of thumb but also baseless "opinion" and baseless "questioning" is the real gas lighting that we can all do without and yes we can all fall into that trap. But lets try hardest to not do that. We will all benefit more by working as a team, tabling questions and issues, comments and concerns and responses to those in a positive way.
Mike drop and stepping down from the soap box. Fingers remain crossed we soon see some positive BIG news events as this is a significantly positive project with a great potential to make us all a little better off.
All comments my own opinion, make yours based on your own research.![]()
