The lines which I found wonderfully fascinating and contradictory are:

- CEO Stephen Wetherall says this represents a spectacular average price of $55,585 per carat.
- The diamond is the 27th biggest recorded in the world and the biggest discovered by an Australian company.

- A short time ago, the company’s share price was down 2.3% to $0.41.

Go figure or make sense of that!!

I suppose the last line mentioned above will either be interpreted as:
(a) an opportunity as the share price hasn't yet reflected the latest announcement;
(b) a deterrent in regards to something must be wrong as no-one is buying notwithstanding the great news;
... all based on subjective interpretation and past experiences!

One can only wonder who really controls (short term anyway) the share market and share prices.
