Gravity surveys are generally unable to resolve thin features like dykes or small features like massive sulphide pods. Rather, gravity will define areas of denser rock (ie ultramafic), versus less dense rock (mafic) against even less dense rock (schists).
Thus, in this case, the gravity high would likely be ultramafic rock. Ultramafic rocks are the most prospective for nickel mineralisation in these systems.
