I don't think Bazz was ever pulling peoples leg.
He was hopeful that finance would be found and it would get the mine up and running sooner rather than later.
Nothing has changed since Bazz left. It's still the same project.
The commodity has gone up though putting the project in a more favourable light.
At the end of the day the financiers are mostly putting up the money to fund the project. They are the ones who decide if it goes ahead or not.
Even if they had the finance they also need to have the agreements for someone to take the product.

MD to me in these small caps translates to best Spruiker or salesman. Even when all hope is lost they have to put on their best face.
I don't think you can blame him. He pushed the project as far as he could get it at the time.

I have never held CYM but I watched it closely in the hope they got finance.
It looked close at times but never quite made it. So far.
I hope it comes good for all the holders.
