So many variables involved that there is no simple answer for that. These are two separate EIS grants, both are for diamond drilling of 1 or 2 ‘deep’ holes.
But we can already see the proposed Yin hole is a single ~400m hole. At Orion they are planning to test the FLEM plate 200m beneath the existing drilling, and they stated ‘holes’ so its safe to assume this will be two drillholes, possibly around ~350m each….so maybe around 1100m of drilling total.

Keep in mind that just because it says $440,000, doesn’t mean that’s what DRE will get. It means DRE can be reimbursed up to 50 per cent of direct drilling costs (capped at $220,000 per grant). For instance if the total direct drilling costs of each program is $200k then DRE get reimbursed 50% of that amount not a set $220k figure.
They would only be getting a $440k reimbursement IF the total direct drilling cost was $880k....which based on the proposed drilling that they have shown, id say that is unlikely to be the case....which makes sense, the drilling is planned around what makes geological sense, not trying to maximise a reimbursement given they are still paying for the other half plus ALL of the assay and ancillary costs.
