Nice discussion on this board - very open and non-confrontational.
I've been a long term "lurker" for a few gold stocks lately ... TIE being one of them and you do seem to be taking an "opening batsmans" approach to the innings here.
I do have my issues with Gold in a long term inflationary environment, particularly when the cost of extraction is fairly well linked to the price of energy/fossil fuels (carbon?)
Anyway ... it seems a fair bet that a corporate strategy is underway and a takeover (with TIE) with a legally manipulated (average) outcome for shareholders more than likely ... as signalled by the recent CR.
So why would I invest a dollar here acknowledging your posting exposure when the same dollar could be spent at a 33% discount (or so) to some other recently CR'd stock, say a biotech for example - that's seen to be a more defensive growth play within the expected medium term / high inflation / high energy price scenario? (Hopefully with far more upside for existing shareholders?)
