It's going to be his one big life-time pay day, after which he won't have to ever do anything again if he doesn't want.

It's going to be interesting to see how it all plays out with Chifeng and it's president. As president of Shandong he seemed to be fairly reasonable, and he stitched up the Ruskies, so I don't expect that Nordgold want a repeat bout with him over here at TIE. So I can't see any alternative bidders coming in at this stage, but that bidding process might not play out or begin for another 2 years yet, so a lot can happen in that time. Chifeng are stating their intention though IMHO.

If TIE can get a pour before the end of the year, at one of the lowest AISC models in the world, then it will be a terrific event and result. The risk v reward of investing here now, under 58 cents, is almost certainly very highly skewed to the reward side.
