Its fully reimbursed by US Medicare, so not a current issue. CYC have clocked up well over 4 million studies worldwide (must be near 5 million).
I think that a marginal cost difference is nothing if the accuracy isn't there - and that is yet to be shown - plus, I wouldn't be taking 4DX's word on cost comparisons as they are great marketeers, and there is more to cost than a headline figure (cost of accuracy for one thing).
I am all for getting behind a better mousetrap, which is why I hold both companies, but there is still a long way to go here and many CRs ahead for 4DX. So far they are good at the marketing, but clinicians will want head-to-head studies before they change practice - no one want to miss the PE that proves fatal.
