Completely fair assessment - I remember reading that of the types of nuclear VQ about 2/3 of the markets use V/Q scintigraphy planar imaging which is without a doubt worse than spect & CTVQ - so there's an easy 2/3 of the market which can be obtained
With regards to spect, because of the better workflow/accessibility advantages, higher sparial resolution and lack of artifacts (more common in spect) 4D only needs to show ‘substantial equivalence’ for FDA approval and to convince clinics to switch over.
I still think this is a winner for 4DX and I would be shaking if I was cyc
