Did your star performer came out of hole and talked about why announced dumbest news at a time they had $30m+ in bank and they haven't got any deal signed ? Or have they spent all those fund in last quarter alone?
A dud car could be sold 20% above value by smart sales person while a super cool car normally sold below value if dud sales man try to sale..!
so it is not always the product but the competency of those managing will decide future value in my opinion.
