Agree, we knew squat about any of the things this week beforehand and assume will be the same for things happening behind the scenes right now.

The acquisition looks like it will be a case of 1 + 1 = a number significant lot more than 2, given the complementary nature of products, and together gives a wide choice for our customers for whatever pulmonary condition. We also will be able to serve our customer in the heart disease space too -- using a "single patient chest CT" for lung and heart disease diagnosis.

The presentation the other day flagged "multiple opportunities in place to advance VA adoption to improve lung health; ILD, COPD, Lung Cancer screening and DRRD evaluation."

Good to see today's DRRD trial is VA funded, so not cost to us, but all the benefits from a successful trial (which seems likely given the successful CB outcome).

The PACT Act earmarks billions of dollars of funding for DRRD / CB as a result of toxic exposures, and given that there are no competing diagnostic technology for this outside of biopsies, it is almost like getting multiple shots on an open goal.
