The Pact act looks to service 6M patients over 10 years. some back of the envelope calcs, here:
- 50% of VA uses phillips systems (3M patients over 10 years)
- Assuming there is a single scan per patient (unlikely) 300k scans per annum.
- being super conservative, lets go with all the scans being on the lower end of reimbursement ($299) - 89.8M in rev from VA scans alone.
- phillips takes their cut, operating margins are fantastic. but this is only 1 slice of the pie...
"CMS approval builds upon acquisition of a CPTIII Code and enables 65.7million Americans to potentially access our Company’s product." compare this to the 300k in VA from the phillips agreement and we can begin to understand what 4dx can actually be.
