I'm not so sure you can say the lead up was insider trading, given it would have been hard to hide a large installation, which would have taken days if not weeks to install. Add to this testing and looking at results to give a lot of people an insight into the technology. A lot of radiologist/CEO's would have been aware/involved prior to market release.
