I noticed that too - and was considering the consequences. With multiple states, the memory starts to approach the characteristics being developed in quantum computing - the ability to store data in (say) 32 bit density .... but with only one bit being utilised to do so.
With long retention, very low power for refreshing and very high speed read/write rates, does this development put 4DS in a position where it not only becomes "storage class" memory, but a prospective alternative to quantum computing (at least at the lower end)?
