I wasn't aware of anybody expecting a non-volatile product. As far as I am concerned, 4DS has always been a computer based memory system, with long refresh rates and no error checking; that is certainly the way that management has always portrayed it as well.
For non-volatile memory, WBT is the local prospect. These are the diverging paths that these two companies have always trodden.
