The crosshairs have officially moved from augmenting dram to to the bigger juicier target of replacing sram.
Its got the speed
It's cheaper per bit
It's allegedly got power savings coming out the wazoo.
The risk for me is getting down to 20nm without another blowout. If Ting and Imec can nail it, then it's rainbows and high fives and LinkedIn photos galore! It also makes Peters job a truck load easier.
