retention = great for a "warm" application. anything that wont involve turning off the machine, as long as you refresh within a time window which looks to be trivial in comparison to dram you've got a much more efficient form of ram. - but will never, ever, compete with nvram. (flash)

tunability = decent range, but important to note that the tunability tradeoff is endurance, meaning if you push the retention out to a day you'll shorten the lifespan of the memory.

fluff about applications and AI blah blah sales bullshit.

on the whole, looks good, having an honest answer about retention gives us something to actually calculate a real value.

in terms of where i think the price should be, unsure, honestly I don't expect to see much movement till we actually get successful 20nm target fab.

but, this does allay my concerns about them not releasing retention metrics - whilst confirming my suspicion that they were below what the market was expecting.

do not take this to mean this is not a valuable product. its not universal ram tho.
