Industry standard “CXL” (Compute Express Link) which is responsible to provide CPU access to system memory such as DRAM is simply not ready to match or support the performance seen in Platform 4. 4DS Memory is just too advanced and has outpaced industry standards.
Management see 4DS performance capabilities being realised in the AI space and management are strategically positioning themselves to solve what SRAM cannot deliver in a booming market.
With that being said, we have what Peter Himes called “Flexible Memory”. Industry partner/s will have a wide range of tunabillity between SRAM, DRAM and FLASH.
