without speaking to the company its hard to know the rationale behind 12months- may be as simple as ImEc dont sign 3 month contracts with potential extensions as waste of time for their legal department to keep going back and forth.
this could still be done and dusted in 1h20 assuming results in feb are good and WD makes a quick bid....2.5 months of HC speculation to look forward to
