The article in the link below, concerning memory and Kioxia, is totally beyond my knowledge and skill set but I was particularly interested in the following paragraph :-
At IEDM, Kioxia will unveil cutting edge technologies tailored to each of these three semiconductor memory layers: (1) a new type of DRAM utilizing oxide semiconductors with a focus on reducing power consumption, (2) MRAM suitable for larger capacities for SCM application, and (3) a novel structure of 3D flash memory with superior bit density and performance.
Would appreciate any light that you, Flectional and others, with deep knowledge of the memory industry, can throw on how you see the 4DS technology fitting into the big scheme of things.
No doubt that is what Peter Himes will be addressing this morning so guess best we hear his talk before useful and constructive thoughts are produced for the likes of me.
