I think today signals that they have completed the PL5 inputs to PL6.
All the learnings gained have been applied. They said PL5 testing was ongoing in December, so that's another point of difference today.
I'm not sure this annoucment would have moved the share price materially, even if the annoucements in December and the fumbled CR hadn't occured.
it would have definitely made existing shareholders more comfortable, but I doubt whether it would have attracted new buyers or existing holders to dig back into their pockets.
there may have been a minor blip, but probably not enough to materially move be weighted price going into a CR.
so we might still have been at 6.5c (discount at 8c) instead of where we are now.
Still a shit show.
Someone suggested they pulled the CR because no existing shareholders could participate. If that's the case it's one of us that f**ked it
