Remember what we have been told:

1. There has been enough work done to take to market and secure a deal, but they want the complete package because it adds significant value over and above what that transaction would be.

2. The process window has been defined for the memory array.

You probably are right about another platform lot being required to deliver a stand alone megabit memory, but that doesn't mean IMEC can't stand by the work they have done so far and allow 4DS to show it to interested parties.

This in my assessment is where the additional 6 platform wafers and the additional non platform lot come into play.

I think Drs W has said to IMEC, "what would we need to do for IMEC to sign off on the work done so far and start allowing us to pursue our strategic/corporate objectives"

They have possibly said "6 more platform wafers to get the statistical confidence up to an acceptable level and another non platform lot to better define the performance characteristics within the process window." We'll then sit down and write a comprehensive report with you while the testing is underway.
