Last announcement they stated they managed to switch the cells in the array, even though a technical problem meant the megabit platform was non-functional.

So the tech works. It's scaleable because that's what IMEC are there to do - if it wasn't by now - IMEC would have kicked 4DS out of their R&D fab and WD/HGST wouldn't have renewed the JDA

Points 1 and 2 make 3 a fait accompli as the demand in the market is there for a DRAM speed memory with persistence and endurance.

Point 4 - it's been developed on existing fab equipment all it has to be is cheaper than DRAM as the value from the product comes from the reduced power consumption/higher efficiency.
