This is why you prepare around the evidence at hand, expecting and accepting the worst news being surprised by the best news.
Once it all dies down, people will realize the sky hasn't fallen as IMEC has decided to have a piece of the pie.
IMEC wouldn't touch it if they thought it was a turd as they'll dump millions of their own into the tech. This will likely work in our favor big time with their dog in the fight. They have a tangible interest now.

Tex I read it as imec have always had this clause, but now we have adjusted to cap the earnings (yet another piece we were no informed of?).

So not sure there is any difference or sudden increase in self interest for imec?
