It was 4 yrs ago 4ds demonstrated 40nm, if we are not below 22nm now I would be dissapointed. We are in the world's leading R and D facilty, meaning developement!Imec would have shown us the door last year if that's all we could scale, if the company or any other for that matter is happy at 22 nm they are not pushing the boundaries hard enough. As for Guido, like any good company, best practice is when your job is done you are moved on, that simple. Nobody is going to pay you to just turn up and collect a pay cheque because you did a good job last year. Same as building a car, the sales man does not touch the tools!.Also no company knows our metrics so how would anyone acquire 4ds if they are not known. Loose lips sink ships!The worlds leading techs are at Imec using their R and D. 4ds is also sitting at the table beside these companies, if you are not pushing the boundaries you will be left behind, and if we are only at 22-28nm hash may be right with 25 - 30c. My opinion only
