My personal view is that there is a massive market in surveillance of existing lung conditions including asthma, COPD, cancer, silicosis, LAM and more. Once the utility of the software is established with respiratory physicians they will be getting patients to go for regular scans just like breast cancer screening or post cancer checkups. This is a long term growth driver IMO. I have people in my life who have asthma and LAM and it would be a game changer if their specialists were willing and able to regularly and cheaply get the level of functional information 4D scans provide.
I am encouraging them to advocate for themselves with specialists but the establishment is hard to counter as a patient. It will only be when KOP leaders start publishing their findings that the respiratory clinical community get with the program.
