I for one check through the posts here on HC as part of my DD, as I'm sure many others do. There is a lot of good research and informed opinion to be found, as well as the not so good. It can be a quick way to get a feel for the temperature and attitude toward a business, although at times this can be a little misleading.
Information is the name of the game after all. We are in fact taking part not just in the exchange ideas, but in effect taking part in word of mouth marketing, the pros or cons of a business. Everyone has their own agenda, some are less than honorable as we know.
Make no mistake it is human nature to hear 10 positives about anything or anyone but only 1 negative and that negative will stick.
