Often the cause of a stuck pump in a bore hole is debri falling in and lodging between the pump and tbe liner.
The pump is usually positioned several metres above the bottom of the hole. The liner is perferated typically for the bottom 15 to 20 metres.
If you cannot withdraw the pump, you may be able to force the pump to the bottom of the hole, then install a new pump.
If you cannot get the pump to drop . . . then there may be sufficient perforated liner to drop anorher pump on top of the stuck pump.
